Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has ordered his ministers not to make any public statement about the killing of the head of the political wing of Hamas. Israel has so far not claimed responsibility for the killing, and there is still considerable uncertainty as to where and how the mechanism that sent the rocket into the room where Haniyeh was sleeping was fired.
According to the New York Times, it is not known whether it was a missile launched from a country close to Iran, or a high-precision bomb dropped by a high-flying plane. And this shows that we are not just dealing with an act of Israel, but also of its allies, such as the first attack that took place in Iran with drones and missiles. Which had a clear coordination not only with the USA and Great Britain, but also with important actors of the Persian Gulf, such as Saudi Arabia.
And precisely this coordination, the lesson shows that we are dealing with a war that is not at all regional, where global actors like China and Russia are involved in the first place.
Precisely for this reason, the Israeli and international media talk about a direct message to Moscow, to show the high military capabilities of the West, which has the ability to carry out surgical attacks like this one against Haniyeh, or even total destruction as happened with Gaza. .
