Euro and dollar in historic decline, how foreign currencies are exchanged today

The euro ended this week in strong decline as well, depreciating by 1% of its value against the lek.

According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the new level recorded on Friday is fixed at 103.5 ALL, when only at the beginning of the week it was at the quota of 104.44 ALL. The downward trend did not stop at any moment, while after the publication of the official figures, the euro fell further at the exchange points, giving signals that after the weekend we can expect other negative records.

Other currencies also suffered a strong fall. The dollar is now at the level of 92 Lek, while the British pound dropped to 120.72 Lek. Even the Swiss franc did not escape the weakening against the lek, which dropped to 107.29 lek.
