After many weeks in decline, the European currency Euro has closed the week with a significant increase according to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania.
More specifically, 1 Euro is exchanged for 106.01 Lek, unlike a week ago when it was exchanged for 103.83 Lek in the foreign exchange market.
The upward trend has continued for other currencies compared to a week ago. The American dollar closed the week by being exchanged at 97.53 Lek, from 94.55 on August 11. While the British Pound is exchanged in foreign exchange agencies at 124.01 Lek, gaining ground by 4 points more than a week ago.
