It has been some time since Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, publicly did not have any official or private meeting, as they did every 3 months with banquets and "fraternal kisses", creating the impression that they have grown cold with each other.
But after the quintessence, Edi Rama started to strengthen ties with "brother" Vučič, in favor of Serbia, giving space in Albania's strategic services, specifically in customs.
Information from confidential sources in the Ministry of Finance informs the "Pamphlet" that within the Directorate of Customs of Albania, the Customs Section of Serbia has been established.
It was not attached by decision of the government and parliament, as the Constitution obliges, but by order of the Minister of Finance, Ervin Mete, which we do not believe he did without the order of Edi Rama.
This Serbian customs section in the Albanian customs dome has the power to act as an independent customs office in Albania, to control Serbian goods and those ordered from Serbia, during transit in the territory of Albania.
For these Serbian goods, the ports, airports and land routes of goods transit have been defined and left as "free zones", without any physical control of documents by the Albanian customs and police, with the status of verbal reliability.
Control of Serbian goods, or those ordered to Serbia and its contractual partner states, will be controlled only by the inspectors of the Serbian Customs section, which is attached as an independent unit within the Albanian Customs.
So, cars and containers with Serbian goods, ordered from Serbia, or that have agents representing the Serbian state; when entering Albania for transit, in addition to having the right to stay up to 24 hours inside the Albanian territory without physical supervision, they cannot be controlled by the border police, customs and border police, anti-crime, anti-mafia, customs agents on the ground and nor from other services.
For example, if Russian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Kosovar, Turkish, etc. goods enter and pass through our country with means, logos, receiving, ordering and representative documents of Serbia, they are checked only by the Customs Section of Serbia in Albania.
Albanian laws oblige the control of any type of goods entering Albania and transiting through our territory; but Babloku has ordered not to be controlled, creating a free ground for traffic and smuggling.
We are not saying that the customs of the region should not cooperate, but only with information and joint actions, and not with independent controls only from the Serbian side in the territory of Albania.
We remind you that Edi Rama has allowed Serbian customs to operate in Albania, but has rejected Kosovo's request to have customs officers co-controlling with Albanian customs./Pamphlet
