"Do you think that the public spaces that are being liberated will be reoccupied over time?", this was the main question of the questionnaire, the link to which I distributed via 2,000 completely random SMS messages throughout the country.
It is a legitimate question to ask on the eve of Urban Renaissance 2.0, as public spaces were reoccupied after Urban Renaissance 1.0.
But it seems that confidence in Rama's determination for the success of Urban Renaissance 2.0 is high, despite the collapse of version 1.0.
Thus, a full 70% of respondents think that there will be no more reoccupation of the liberated public spaces. Only 26% think that there will be a reoccupation (almost entirely opposition voters). While 4% are undecided (I have rounded the percentages for ease of reading).
The fact that 70% of Albanians here believe in Rama's determination to discipline public spaces places a heavy political burden on his shoulders. At least until 2030, there should be no need for an Urban Renaissance 3.0...
