In 2023, Benet Beci received 34.5 thousand votes in the Shkodra Municipality, compared to Bardh Spahisa's 22.8 thousand votes. But in the meantime, Beci was supported by almost 13 thousand PSD voters there.
In 2025, the SP received 22.8 thousand votes in the territory of the Municipality of Shkodra – not counting the emigration votes. On the other hand, the PD-ASHM received 24.2 thousand votes. While the PSD received about 6700 votes. Which shows that the support of the PSD could be numerically decisive for a second mandate of Benet Beci.
It is not known what political position the PSD will have until 2027, but if this party does not support Beci, the electoral result in the Municipality of Shkodër may depend on the start of the Milot-Shkodër highway (starting from Milot-Balldren, but with the emphasis that it will eventually end in Shkodër). Berisha started the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road with the aim of winning in the Korça Region in 2013 (we know how that story ended), instead of starting the Milot-Shkodër highway (an area he considered to have in his electoral pocket).
