The USB debate shows the "popular justice" we have established

All this nationwide insistence for Niko to hand over the USB to the people is a matter of three or four days...

Most political actors and of course the popular masses on social networks have been searching for Niko Peleshi's safe, where the USB drive containing the investigative file against Ms. Balluku is stored, after SPAK declared it an investigative secret.
So SPAK declared it as such, not the Parliament, nor Niko, nor Ulsiu.

In fact, this does not impress anyone, as we are already accustomed to having a consolidated tradition that files are displayed once in public, then go to court, Parliament or to lawyers. It is a tradition created by the SPAK public relations office to start popular trials before the real trial. And it is an accepted reality that this is how it should happen. This is the only standard that SPAK has set in its work that we all agree on.

That's why when SPAK declares a file an investigative secret, no one takes it seriously, because they know that SPAK won't say anything if they publish it. SPAK has declared the "Toyota Yaris" file an investigative secret, because SPAK prosecutors are also implicated in it, but this has not prevented Sali Berisha from reading a page of it every time he goes to SPAK or leaves SPAK. There is no measure from SPAK about this. In almost 100 percent of cases, each file has been released to the media once, then it has gone to court. SPAK has not reacted.

The same is true in the Balluku case. SPAK has declared it an investigative secret, but this has not stopped the media from publishing parts of the file using the same media captions they always use.

All this nationwide insistence for Niko to hand over the USB to the people is a matter of three or four days. Now the commission deputies have received the file and the first wave of insistence will begin, as they will multiply it and distribute it as much as they can. Then the lawyers will receive it. They will do it too. So within two weeks or so, when the file goes to Court, the entire people will have read it several times, accompanied by the relevant comments and fantasies.

Nothing will be left unread. You will read every page and letter. Neither Nikua nor Parliament is being hidden, but the procedure of declaring it an investigative secret. And an investigative secret in our country is something that is declared not to preserve secrecy, but to increase curiosity. And this has succeeded.

And by the way, three days ago the Prosecutor General of Macedonia was impeached in Parliament for leaking an investigative secret and was forced to resign an hour before the start of the session. This is a clear case of how an independent power like the judiciary depends on the law if it violates it. SPAK regularly does what their colleague in Skopje was fired for two days ago. And when they decide to declare a file an investigative secret, they themselves are the first to make it public, to instill fear in others.

So don't call this insistence on having the USB today and burning thousands of pages in the press today a debate. It is simply a matter of culture that has sanctioned SPAK in all its activity with the people's courts. It is the most prominent achievement of the Justice Reform.

Only when someone is punished for this practice by the Prosecutor's Office will we understand that the law is equal for all, as these prosecutors have been fond of saying, without considering themselves.

Ah merhum o merhum. Ke filluar Kërcen dhe ti nga Bela-ja bashke me Fundo-rinen. Dosjet jane nxjerre kryesisht dhe pikerisht nga avoketer e deputete jo nga SPAK.
