Why is the "accidental" rotation rejected?!

February gone; those who talk about rotation think that either Sali Berisha or his circle will come to power.

There is a permanent and persistent opinion in the public debate regarding the issue of rotation. An opinion that is considered as an argument from the 2017 elections onwards.

This opinion, which comes to us in a nocturnal kitchen of panels and the beat of discussion on television, insists on the question, or on the issue that is often thrown that "Albania needs change".

Of course, the word "change" in this argument or in this opinion means a change in power, so let Edi Rama go and Sali Berisha come. Fatos Lubonja, is really the person who has cemented the dominant philosophy that is being tossed around in public. Lubonja says in simple words: there are three gangs, Rama, Berisha and Meta. Let's change the gangs, like the Sicilian families changed the capo of Cosa Nostra. Lubonja, in this narration, tries to destroy the logic of the balance that comes simply from the "change of hand". In other words, the Corleones are gone, the Catanese are coming, the Palermitans are gone, the group of fire that Enver took across the sea because he saw that they were unseen is coming.

No matter how interesting the narrative may be, the facts speak politically, because Albania, thank God, has been voting since March 31, 1991. And the vote is the foundation of a democracy, no matter how many carbines it has not received well. A vote is a vote. Today, based on the vote and perception, Albania is a Western country in the full sense of the word, without any exaggeration. Bad or good, the people who come to the top choose the Albanians. Who in the vote are still more engaged than many peoples in the world, starting with the Americans.

If we leave the theories, we enter the essence. February gone; those who talk about rotation think that either Sali Berisha or his circle will come to power.

This is the main thing! Sali Berisha is the only politician in Albania who has cheated on him and violated his destiny in a way that raised the dilemma: Does the doctor do it or is he himself? I mean, who told him to destroy this country, or is it a vice?

Berisha came to power twice; on March 22, 1992 and on July 2, 2005 as an accidental rotation. Although in both cases he did the service for it to happen. But in the end, the essence of the rotation has been a pure political accident. In 1992, they voted for Berisha because he was on the other side of the regime. In 2005, Sali Berisha did not win the elections with an absolute majority, but he was still voted to be recycled, as a kind of fault of that part of the gray electorate that had taken him by the wool in 1997.

The only time Sali Berisha came to political power was in 2009. When he led a coalition that managed to come first in the elections, he then made a political alliance with Ilir Meta.

It was a golden opportunity not just for Berisha, but for the PD and the right, as they had around them what panel analysts called the "Silent Majority". So, even after Gërdec, there was a kind of amnesty on the part of the gray electorate. who in 2013 gave his hand to Sali Berisha and has no reason to return it. It is clearly seen in every pore poll and vote, that what is called the center requires the rotation in DP before the real rotation. He no longer intends to give Berisha the chance to come to power.

Shkodra, Kukësi, Tropoja in the local elections were a political message, that whoever knows those territories politically understands why it happened. Who will replace Berisha in what Rama called today the fight for second place? This is actually a process that requires not just its own time but the right people to make a difference.
