The chances that we will have early elections in late fall or next spring are more obvious. Not because it was said in Real Story a month ago, but because every day this scenario is taking an almost irreversible course. And the day before yesterday's meeting of the SP Assembly, where the entire secretariat of the Socialist Party was dismissed, warns of Rama's need to prepare for an electoral confrontation with a new party team. Awaiting the government meetings, probably with a new government but with the same Prime Minister at least until now, the chances increase for an almost total reshuffle of the Socialist Party. But what are the reasons why Rama seems to be walking the path of early elections without any normal reason, exactly after two and a half months ago he won in the proportions of 2017?
The main reason seems to be the chaos that is expected to cause in the parliament and in the wider Albanian politics "the uprising of SPAK". After three decades of apathy and amnesia of the justice system, it seems that the US-EU creature is trying with belated force to establish the rule of law at the highest political and institutional levels. Almost a dozen senior left-wing officials are already either convicted or banned for corruption and abuse of office, while the waiting list is long both in the majority and in the opposition. Two politicians of the highest level such as Ahmetaj and Tahiri are legally stigmatized with a cold mind. The dismissal of Gjiknuri, as it is being investigated by SPAK, seems to confirm the "rope left out" by his colleagues. Like any former minister or ex-ministers who have been questioned more than once by prosecutors, they are anxiously awaiting the summons as defendants. So the list is getting a little longer if we don't forget opposition figures who have been investigated for a long time. But Rama does not have accounts with the opposition because before receiving criminal sentences, he himself was electorally sentenced to life imprisonment.
Apparently, as far as we can judge at this moment, Rama does not aim for elections to defeat the opposition opponents who endanger his power. No! In the opposition, nothing moves in the direction of its growth. Worse still, they are reduced through nonsense with fake forums, the seal that the court holds, and people who move freely from Basha to Berisha and vice versa like Bardhi & co. Rama simply has to manage the costs of the only opponent he faces: SPAK! Or to put it bluntly, the serious government corruption that everyone from the international community to the last shepherd in the mountains of Albania is aware has wreaked havoc like locusts in the fields.
But has Rama paved the way from today until the possible elections? There are three unknowns that he has to face until he and the SP are re-legitimized. The first one has to do with removing responsibilities from oneself. However safe it seems legally, the Prime Minister also feels "moisture" from Ahmetaj's mutterings and yesterday's irony of Gjiknuri. If any official under investigation will involve the prime minister in the cases for which they are suspected of corruption, great difficulties are created. Of course, a Prime Minister who surprisingly knows nothing of what those under him do, cannot stay in the game except by being confirmed by popular vote. Secondly, of the political leaders with whom he won power in 2013, almost none of them have remained by his side. What it means is that the majority is being delegitimized and despite the well-known socialist solidarity, the danger of electoral defeat is at the door. Therefore, the new team must be voted on and not simply appointed, as is usually the case from 2008 onwards.
Thirdly, the SP cannot produce endless politicians, so the responsibility must be left to the voters. But just as unexpectedly, most likely his allies are being mixed up by international partners in intelligence services reports that spread and advance perceptions that can then turn into legal strikes. Or they simply cloud the alliance itself, which can produce electoral costs for the majority. Premature divisions that will affect early elections.
Rënia e fituesve të 2013 në këto rrethana, kërkon ngritjen e disa të tjerëve për vazhdimin e qeverisjes dhe mbi të gjitha përballjet elektorale. Djemtë dhe vajzat e stilit të bashkisë Tiranë po digjen si figura ende pa u ndezur. Rasti i Krifcës është elokuent. Politika nuk bën për burokratët! Dymbëdhjetë qarqet kërkojnë drejtues politikë, ndërsa qeveria ministra që mbajnë përgjegjësi para Kushtetutës e ligjit. E mbi të gjitha politikanë që kanë këllqe për të reformuar e administruar. Në këtë konsekst laku po ngushtohet e Rama është gjithnjë e më i vetëm. Prej kohësh po bën edhe Kryeministrin edhe ministrat edhe kryetarët e bashkive. Kjo ka një kosto, pra përbën një të panjohur. Të madhe sa shkuarja në zgjedhje pa një krizë parlamentare.
Por në mënyrë paradoksale tre “të panjohurat” e mësipërme nuk e bëjnë ekuacionin të pazgjidhshëm. Pasi rezultati i zgjedhjeve dihet. Ato i humb opozita që vegjeton mes tre grupimeve dhe asnjë zgjidhjeje të krizës së saj. Zgjedhje të parakohshme pa përplasje numrash në parlament mes mazhorancës dhe opozitës apo protesta masive në rrugë ,vetëm në Shqipërinë e Rilindjes e PD-së së çatrafillosur ndodhin. Dhe askush në opozitë mos të gëzohet për raportet e fundit amerikane që nxijnë qeverisjen, pasi nuk janë as të parat e as të fundit, pasi vetë opozita i ka zhbërë me mediokritetin e saj epik.
E megjithatë “dardhët e ngrëna pas kurrizit të Ramës” mund të kenë edhe bisht. Kjo turbulencë në mazhorancë që prodhon paradoksalisht fitore në zgjedhje të parakohshme mund të krijojë dhe rivalë brenda PS. Vërtetë Rama ngjan fuqiplotë në Partinë Socialiste, por ambicia njerëzore është e paparashikueshme. Dhe pas perdes së pushtetit të Ramës po luhen dhe lojëra pushteti të dukshme dhe të padukshme. Ata që janë rritur nën hijen e Ramës mund të mendojnë se janë zgjatur mbi kokën e tij. Këtë do e tregojnë muajt në vazhdim. Pushteti prodhon më shumë pushtet, e ambiciet në rritje janë njerëzore.
If the three unknowns with a solved equation become four, then indeed the equation may not be solved as it seems so far, that is, with a position of Rama at the head of government. Rama smells this as an old political player, so it is better to go to the elections than to risk drowning in the swamp that he himself has filled with stagnant water. Maybe the elections dry up and he and the SP manage to survive, but who knows. Even Pericles entered the war with Sparta "with victory" in his pocket, but his speech before the Athenians after the defeat will be remembered in the history of politics as the failure of the calculations of reason in the face of the unknowns that human nature itself produces.
