Evi Kokalari: The truth about Fatmir Mediu's "meetings" in the US

Fatmir Mediu is in America hoping to save himself and Berisha...

For days now I've been noticing that Fatmir Mediu is in America, taking photos with Congressmen and posting them on Facebook for news effect. He calls many of them friends, but they are not Mediu's friends.

Mediu's hypocrisy towards our Congressmen in the US begins with the introduction he makes of himself, as the chairman of the Republican Party. In fact, Mediu, out of respect for the time these congressmen have dedicated to him, should tell them that his party exists in name only, and that for ten years now, only Mediu has had its members and deputies in parliament.

The second fact that Mediu must explain to his "friends" in Congress is that Mediu is a deputy in the most corrupt form that exists - closed lists - and not by vote. How much Mediu's skin is worth can only be seen in the elections. Mediu, like many others, is in parliament by force like the communists and not by the free will of the people.

But the question arises - where does Mediu find his contacts and how do these congressmen find the time to meet with him in such a short period of time? Or does he simply walk the corridors and find an office to take a picture of?

It seems that the Medium's secret is the only friendship he has - Robert Aderholt.

Aderholt is a Congressman from Alabama and a figure in the institute that organizes the 'Prayer Breakfast', an event that has become a lobbying hall for foreign politicians and has begun to be disliked by American political exponents, precisely because it has lost the essence of its original mission.

Aderholt is also co-chair of the Albanian Affairs Caucus in Congress, and this is alarming when you see that the Albanian Affairs Caucus, instead of dealing with real problems and helping Albania, has become a tool to protect corrupt Albanian politicians. In the latter, we as a community will raise the issue in question, referring specifically to Mediu and demanding Aderholt's resignation from the Albanian Affairs Caucus.

That the Congressmen in Medi's photos have no idea who Medi is doesn't make much sense, but I have a hunch that Aderholt knows.

One of the responsible sources of our community here in NY tells me that Aderholt has been to Albania 63 times, of course in the name of 'Jesus'. This raises a lot of questions and I really want to know what Aderholt wanted in Albania 63 times. But this issue, as well as the investigation by FARA into whoever introduces Mediu to members of Congress, and who is not registered as a lobbyist for a foreign political party, remain investigations of journalists and the DOJ.

But why has Mediu started a mediocre photo campaign two months before the elections? He has his seat in parliament secured (in a corrupt way anyway). In fact, this is a campaign against justice and SPAK.

Fatmir Mediu is in America hoping to save himself and Berisha. This is unlikely to happen. America and Congress or its members would never risk their reputation to protect Fatmir Mediu.

A newspaper article on this issue will very well be used against them in future campaigns in America. As I said above, if they had known who Mediu was, they would not have agreed to meet with him and would not have become tools for defending a corruption that is sinking these characters.

Personally, this whole attempt between Mediu in DC and LaCivite on the side of the 'legend' seems to me like the last squirm before the animal gives up the ghost.

I have explained this latest phenomenon of the Medium in detail, more to explain the mentality of reality seen through our eyes as Americans - to Irena Gjokes, and I hope that this message, in one form or another, reaches her.

I have a request for Irena - on April 7, which is the next session, you should not have any mercy, and not only that - but increase the dose of aggressiveness to the maximum. Medi's photos in Congress should not intimidate anyone, especially justice in Albania - because what is happening in Albania, it is our duty as a community to make clear to those in Congress. But the last hope in Albania for cleaning up corruption is only SPAK, and you clearly have the support of the Albanians themselves.

I can't call Medi guilty until the case is over in court, but as we say back home "If it walks like a goose, quacks like a goose - chances are it's a goose!"
