What really unites the DP candidate for the municipality of Tirana Florian Binaj with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and what distinguishes him from his two comedian colleagues, Julian Deda and Erion Isai, who have entered the political journey earlier?
Florian Binaj was involved in the protests allegedly called by civil society in 2023, gave numerous speeches and unlike Zelenskyy who gained popularity with a single political speech, he failed politically two years ago along with the protests. The first political failure after 2023, despite his 'civility', also somewhat faded his career as a comedian.
In order not to go all the way to Kiev, in the narrow corridors of Albanian politics, two comedians currently stand out with whom Florian Binaj can be compared many times better than with the president of Ukraine.

But Julian Deda was burned as a candidate for deputy in the last elections by the DP structures, with the motive, as he himself recently admitted and as he had been told, that politics is a serious matter and to be successful it conflicts with the 'profession of a comedian'. For this reason, Deda expressed some anger and disappointment with Binaj's candidacy.
