16 years after the tragedy of Gërdec, Albanian justice, which previously acquitted the businessmen and those in charge of the deadly Gërdec factory of murder, has a chance to restart efforts to bring to justice those politically responsible for this massacre.
Fatmir Mediu, the man who promoted this deadly business through the son of Prime Minister Sali Berisha, has now restarted the judicial process after being protected for 15 years with the mandate of the deputy.
The story of hiding this crime started a few minutes after the tragedy in the office of Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Informed of the tragedy, he has carefully begun to hide the first and most serious evidence against him, the presence of his own housekeeper, already a victim in this tragedy. His first press release mentioned the name of the bazhanak, but changed it from Muhamet Hoxha to Mehmet Hoxha. In the footage broadcast publicly and read with his voice, there is a pause before he mentions the name and he calmly reads Mehmet instead of the name Muhamet.
"So far, the names of 3 victims have been identified: Rajmonda Tudi, 40 years old, Mehmet Hoxha, 59 years old, Jetmir Kolloshi, 19 years old, while two of the victims are still unidentified. 4 of them were found at the place of the explosion and another further away.
His attempt from the first moments of the tragedy to divert the truth away from him and his family was and remains the political line that is burying this truth.
Berisha used this "intentional name confusion" two days later in the hall of the Parliament of Albania. Even though his family was familiar with the tragedy, even though his wife Liri Berisha and his two children were at the burial ceremony of his grandfather, he continued to act as if he did not know Muhammad.
Berisha, an exemplary husband and devoted to his wife's family ties down to the last detail, was trying to present himself to the Albanians as he is not, as a man who does not know his own country.
Efforts to keep this story away from his family are inadvertently revealed by his wife in her public interviews. Liri Berisha made the first attempt to misrepresent this story.
In an interview given to the newspaper "Panorama", on 15.04.2008, Mrs. Berisha says that she and her son had not told Sali Berisha the fact that he had a farmer who worked in Gërdec and who was one of the killed among the victims. .
Here's how she describes the moment when she felt bad that Berisha didn't know anything about bazhanak. "The problem was that he never had the chance to meet her. They (the sister and her husband) had only arrived three months ago. Saliu would read the name there and I would say: "Black, how come we didn't tell her!" At that time, it was the third anniversary of my mother's death and we had thought of leaving the family introduction to the family members for later. Mrs. Berisha's explanation has several fundamental shortcomings. The first deficiency has to do with the very image of the Berisha family and the perfect relationship they have as a couple. The Berisha couple stands out for very sincere relationships with each other and very good relations. In such a family report, which we can never believe is hypocritical, it cannot happen that Mrs. Berisha never spoke to her husband about the gardener, who was working in a job that had been recommended by her son. theirs. But the shadows of doubt grow below, when Mrs. Liri Berisha tells how she learned that her brother-in-law was working in Gërdec. "One day when we go to my parents' cemetery, I ask my sister if her husband had started work and she told me that he was working somewhere near Marikaj. When I asked her what she does, she answered: "She carries some boxes of ammunition." Is he satisfied with his work? - I asked her. "Not so much, he keeps some cash, but he will stay for a while until he finds another, better job." At the time of his death, he had received only two salaries." ("Panorama", April 15, 2008).
This statement of Mrs. Liri Berisha contradicts the statements of her sister, Vjollca Hoxha, (Rama) the widow of Muhamet Hoxha killed in Gërdec. Mrs. Hoxha, who seems to have been on the periphery of the benefits of her brother-in-law's power, tells the story differently. In an interview in "Gazeta Shqiptare" on June 15, 2008, she says that her husband had returned to Albania since November, while she herself since the beginning of 2007, and not as Liri Berisha says, "they (her sister with husband) they had only arrived three months ago". Vjollca Hoxha, (Rama) sister of Liri Berisha, in an exclusive interview for "Gazeta Shqiptare", confesses that she had returned to Albania in June 2007 to visit her family, and that in Albania she had an operation that she had to perform, after he had torn the meniscus. Ndryshe nga kjo, zonja Liri Berisha në intervistën e saj thotë: “Kur e pyes (motrën) se çfarë bën (burri), ajo m’u përgjigj: “Mban ca arka municionesh”. (Gazeta “Panorama”, 15 prill 208). Këto lajthitje të zonjës Berisha në intervistën e saj publike për Gërdecin dëshmojnë se ajo, ose nuk është e sinqertë me opinionin publik, ose nuk ka qenë e sinqertë me motrën e saj dhe bashkëshortin e saj, Sali Berisha.
Motra e saj provon se ka qenë me burrin në Shqipëri prej vitit 2007 dhe se nuk e ka ditur se burri i saj punonte mbajtës arkash municionesh. Pasi çështja u bë e rëndë dhe mori përmasa politike, Ilir Meta ka qene i shqetësuar se mos prokuroria ka kapur këtë bisede. Nga një përgjim telefoni i Delijorgjit me gruan e tij, flitet gjerësisht për ketë shqetësim. Gruaja i thotë Delijorgjit se Monika i ka shkuar në shtëpi dhe e ka pyetur nëse Mihali i ka fshire mesazhet e Ilirit dhe Mihali e siguron se i ka fshirë. Duke ia përshkruar gruas së tij mesazhin, ai thotë se Ilir Meta i ka thënë ‘më ke pranë si vëlla ne çdo rast’.
Pra siç shihet në orët e para të tragjedisë kemi pasur një përfshirje direkt te familjes së kryeministrit për të fshehur rrethanat që lidhnin ata me këtë histori.
Gruaja e kryeministrit tregon ndryshe historinë nga motra e saj, djali i saj flet me personin kryesor të tragjedisë, ndërsa kryeministri i ngatërron emrin baxhanakut te vet, edhe pse njeh me emër e mbiemër
Po si është përfshire djali i kryeministrit në këtë histori? Është e vështire ta ndash ku mbaron të qenit e tij si pronar real i këtij biznesi dhe ku ka qene thjesht ndërmjetës. Ata qe e njohin nga afër para shpërthimit dëshmojnë se ai fliste hapur për këtë biznes, biles shpesh i shqetësuar qe administrate e babait të tij nuk e ndihmonte sa duhet të bënte dokumentacionin gati.
Shoqëria e tij me Fatmir Mediun në ato muaj ka qenë publike. Ata ishin bashkë në zyrë, në Sheraton, në makinë, në restorant. Sipas dëshmive që dalin nga blloku i sekretares së Ministrit, rezulton që Shkëlzen Berisha për një periudhë të shkurtër të ketë qenë aty mbi 50 herë.
Këto blloqe autentike argumentojnë çdo kundërshtim që mund të vije në vazhdim ne lidhje me përfshirjen tashme të provuar të zotit Berisha ne aferën e Gërdecit. Këto dy blloqe kanë të dokumentuara dhe të faktuara të gjitha vizitat “për kafe” që ka bërë në zyrën e Ministrit të Mbrojtjes Fatmir Mediu, të Shkëlzen Berishës. Te gjitha takimet kanë të shënuara datat përkatëse dhe personat përkatës. Për lehtësi po ju japim vetëm ato data (faqe blloku) kur zoti Shkëlzen Berisha ka shkuar në zyrën e Ministrit të Mbrojtjes për të takuar këtë të fundit. Siç shihet dhe nga blloku shumë skandaloz dhe shqetësues njëkohësisht është fakti që ne 17 ose 18 mars zoti Shkëlzen Berisha ka shkuar të takoje ministrin Mediu në zyrën e këtij të fundit në Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes. Gjithashtu është interesante fakti qe zoti Berisha e ka vizituar zyrën e Ministrit të Mbrojtjes katër ditë rresht në datat 17, 18, 19, 20 korrik 2007. Arsyeja është shumë e thjeshtë. Nga hulumtimet tona del se gjatë periudhës korrik 2007 furnizimi me fishekë në fabrikën e Gërdecit bëhej shumë pak dhe nga ana e kompanisë AlbaDemil kërkohej më shumë municion, kërkesë e cila kishte hasur vështirësi dhe pengesa nga repartet ushtarake.
Nga marsi 2007 deri në mars 2008 zoti Shkëlzen Berisha de facto ka pasur një zyrë të tijen në institucionin e Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes. Pesë nga shume bisedat që janë bërë mes zotit Shkëlzen Berisha dhe drejtuesve te tjerë të Ministrisë duke përfshirë dhe Ministrin e Mbrojtjes janë inçizuar me gadget regjistrues nga dy prej të pandehurve, njeri prej të cilëve ndodhet në gjendje arresti, por këto materiale janë zhdukur dhe nuk i janë dorëzuar prokurorisë.
Lobimi i tij ne këtë heshtje shihet qarte edhe tek mënyra se si ka raportuar Ministri i Drejtësisë, Aldo Bumçi, në adresë të tij për komentet e vendimit të qeverisë që do t’i hapte rrugë demontimit. Ky është dhe fakti më komprometues që lidh direkt djalin e Kryeministrit me këtë biznes, ku ministrat janë thjesht ushtarë raportues të tij.
Nga faksi i Ministrisë së Drejtësisë në adresë të Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes, Bumçi ka nisur komentet e vendimit në një kopje për Shkëlzen Berishën. Edhe pse tri dite më parë e kishte nisur shkresën zyrtarisht, një fotokopje të saj ka bërë kujdes t’ia nis në një zyre të asaj ministrie ku Shkëlzen Berisha ishte bërë familjar, me faks. Edhe pse Bumçi e Berisha u përpoqën ta përgënjeshtrojnë faktin, sekretarja e Bumçit e konfirmoi atë në prokurori.
Një tjetër dëshmi e fortë që Shkëlzen Berisha ishte pronari real këtij biznesi, ishte Rrahman Selmanllari, një mik i vjetër i tij, i cili e përdorte shpesh si mbulesë e veprimeve të tij si sekser.
I thirrur nga prokuroria Rrahman Selmanllari pranon se ka miqësi me Shkëlzen Berishën, por mohon të ketë lidhje me Gërdecin.
Dëshmia e tij është e rreme, por ai nuk është marrë i pandehur për këtë. Së pari kemi dëshminë e kunatit të tij që punonte në atë që quhej “Grupi hije” në Gërdec dhe qe ishte një grup special që nuk i jepte llogari askujt. Gjithçka ka të bëjë me grupin HIJE qe vepronte “turni i tretë” në Gërdec dhe merrej vetëm me organizimin e municioneve. Të gjithë te lidhur (Kunetër, krushqi, të afërm, miq) me aksionierin hije të Gërdecit, zotin Rrahman Selmanllari. Të gjithë këta persona kanë dhënë dëshmi të rreme dhe prokuroria fatkeqësisht e ka lëne deri këtu hetimin pa dashur t’i shkojë deri në fund.
Pra dëshmia e Selmanllarit që nuk ka lidhje me Gërdecin, dhe që nuk njeh askënd që punon aty hidhet poshtë nga dëshmitë e njerëzve të tij që e pranojnë se janë punësuar aty për shkak të tij. Ekziston një dokument që provon se Rrahman Selmanllari ishte i autorizuar i kompanisë amerikane SAC që po instalonte fabrikën e demontimit.
Njeriu i Shkëlzen Berishës ishte personi kyç që drejtonte gjithë punën në Gërdec dhe ende sot nuk është thirrur nga Gjykata për dëshmi të rreme. Po ashtu nuk është thirrur as nga prokuroria, as nga gjykata Shkëlzen Berisha. Nuk është thirrur nga prokuroria dhe gjykata as Ilir Meta. Pra nuk është thirrur askush qe provon se gjithë ky biznes u ndërtua nga lobimi i djalit të kryeministrit dhe njerëzve të afërt të Berishës.
Nuk janë thirrur në prokurori as pronaret e firmës Trans Digging Construction, që është firma e cila ka kryer punimet për ndërtimin e fabrikës së Gërdecit.
Pronarë të kësaj firme janë Delijorgji, vajza e Fahri Balliut dhe dy vëllezër me mbiemër Mata, njëri prej të cilëve është drejtues tek Fondi Amerikan i Ndërmarrjeve në Tiranë.

This information was made known to the Minister of Defense Mr. Media and Chief of Staff Mr. Hoxha and it turns out that neither of them seemed interested in solving the problem. Document C (pp. 1, 2, 3 & document no. 1217) show the minutes of receipt of documents from the General Prosecutor's Office as well as document no. 1217 tells about an information that the Air Brigade requests from the United Force Command on the works of the private firm "Trans Digging Construction".
When the death factory started work and the Ministry of Defense was supposed to be overseeing the process, she was out of the game. The situation on the ground was controlled by what was called the "third shift" and it only dealt with the organization of ammunition. They were all related to each other, (cousins, cousins, relatives, friends) with Gërdec's shadow shareholder Rrahman Selmanllari, who at that time represented Shkëlzen Berisha in every business or real estate transaction. These people have given false testimony and the prosecution has unfortunately left the investigation to this point without wanting to go to the end.
