Today's revolt becomes more honest when it accepts yesterday's silence. Don't use the flamingo as a leaf, use it as a mirror, where you can clearly see yourself and clearly see that the opposition is not the same as the government...
Adam, I was delighted when I saw you in the corner of the screen, among the angry citizens, speaking clearly, revolted, with a flamingo in your hand as a symbol of Zvërnec.
Adam had not seen you for a long time, except for the nights when you would come out with a different appearance (disfigured) to throw mud at us as children of Eve and rejoice with Rama.
It's okay, Adam! Of course.
However, I do not believe that you came there to seek the missing forgiveness of original and continuing sin.
I don't believe you came to rehash the old trial, where the blame was sometimes placed on the serpent, sometimes on Eve, and never on the man who remained silent when he should have been held responsible.
I know, Adam, that you are very upset by the arrogance of those who pretend to be God and those who decide about the earth, the sky, the sea, the forest, the heritage, the memory, and the future, as if they were the private property of their temporary power.
I've tried it myself on my skin and eyes and it hurts just thinking about it, not just touching it. And I believe Adam that this gives way to your annoyance. I saw you very revolted, Adam. And you're right.
I am sincerely with you, Adam, until the end, not because I have been waiting for you with difficulty, but because man's revolt against false gods and injustice heals the soul of society.
A society with Adams who don't revolt is not calm, it is numb. It is not mature at all, on the contrary, it is surrendered.
So bravo Adam!
But something burned within my soul and conscience, Adam, as I saw within your unstoppable pathos, that incurable "small" "sin", that desire to simultaneously make the devil (the serpent) and Eve guilty.
And from this I have some questions for you, Adam, that I am telling you openly without shame, without thinking that you will be upset. Where were you, Adam, when we were protesting and fighting the devil hand in hand?!
Where were you, Adam, when Rama was stealing votes in front of you and everyone else's eyes and you were rubbing his power so that it would grow even more?!
Where were you, Adam, when we raised our voices against the law on protected areas?! Where were you, Adam, when we said that nature cannot be treated like a building plot, nor like a business map in government offices?!
Where were you, Adam, when we warned that removing legal protection from protected areas was not modernization, but opening the door to concrete?!
Where were you, Adam, when we were shouting that Zvërnec, Thethi, Dhërmi, etc., are not a piece of land without memory, but a space where nature, history, faith and heritage coexist like in a rare Albanian icon?!
Where were you, Adam, when we were opposing the cultural heritage law?!
Nis kur qesh me paralajmërimin.
Ku ishe ti, Adam?!
Ku ishe kur ligji kalonte?!
Because it is not enough to go out into the garden after the fruit has been plucked. It is not enough to curse the snake after you have seen the tree become bare. It is not enough to look for the guilty only when the shadow of error falls on your doorstep.
You must have been there when the seed of sin was planted. You must have been there when we screamed. You must have been there when we were told we were overreacting. You must have been there when power was learning that it could take everything, because people were either silent, or laughing, or waiting their turn for injustice to knock on their door.
So, Adam, welcome to the revolt! A little late, but welcome. Because it is better to be a late riser than a never riser. But be careful!
Do not turn revolt into an alibi like Eve once did. Do not use anger to hide the absence when it was necessary. Do not leave the blame only to the serpent (the devil), and certainly not to Eve, Adam! Because in every story of the fall there is also an Adam who remained silent.
And the question remains. Not as an accusation, but as a full encouragement to continue. Not as a political jab, but as a moral call. Where were you, Adam?! And, most importantly: Where will you be tomorrow, if you are not with the opposition today?!
Don't forget!
The arrogance of those who today behave like omnipotent Gods was not born overnight.
It was nourished, grew, and fattened by every ironic laugh you gave, every careless "like" on social media, and every time you chose to look with indifference at the opposition's struggle.
Therefore, Adam, only when you accept that the opposition was and is right and when you understand that the fight for justice is a fierce political battle against a regime without rules, only then will no one ask you ironically anymore,
Where were you, Adam?!)
