And therefore, the most careful attention for us Albanians should be to always keep alive this philosophical axiom: Never accept an absolute personal power!
We must not forget that the injustice that you can commit, there are cases where it is also an obligation imposed on you by the powerful individual.
Exactly for this, Voltaire told us:
"Anyone who has power and makes you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustice."
And we Albanians have known this phenomenon very well, with the historical tragedy we have gone through: from the Ottomans to Enver Hoxha.
There were not a few individuals in the Hodgist tyranny that we have gone through, who have committed terrible injustice, through the political violence they have exercised.
But today, do we have special cases of this phenomenon?
Yes, today we have such special cases in Albania, and easy ones, because this type of injustice is no longer a phenomenon in Albania, and therefore there is no case that crimes of the dictatorial phenomenon have been committed.
In Albania, that time is dead.
But democracy always requires legal attention, following modern institutions and work, for it to be fully achieved.
Therefore, we must always remember that...
Here in our country, the communist terror went so far as to force the boy to leave his father, mother and the whole family, to protect Enver Hoxha's regime.
Because the nightmare of the state terror of a dictatorship is terrible, because, in essence, this is a torturous feeling for the whole society.
There is no greater human evil than a dictatorial power like the one we Albanians have experienced.
Therefore, today, that we have 32 years saved, the sad history of the Hoxha tyranny must be remembered and analyzed regularly.
This must be done realistically, because the great philosophical theories of history have told us:
Beware, history repeats itself!
