What happened at the Magisterial School proves how far, how far, we are in the culture of becoming a state.
What happened at the School of Magistracy is more than serious. The registration of a dozen candidates, over 50, after the correction of the test had been completed, with the claim that the automatic corrector had errors, and the tests were recorrected, knocks down the "magic" of the Magistrate. The claim that the device did not correct correctly the first time and recorrecting, with the same device, increased the number of winners by 70%, is quite naive.
It may be entirely true that the device has malfunctioned. It may be true that those who get "extra" may have deserved it. But this process is no longer reliable. The process could and should be repeated, because in justice faith is sacred. Faith is more precious than the candidate's grades.
Let's face it, a good judge or prosecutor is not one who knows the Criminal Code by heart. They keep the rules of the law on the table even when they investigate and when they give decisions. A good judge and prosecutor is one who enjoys, first, integrity and public trust.
Note: The Judge is God on earth. He decides whether you will live in freedom or in prison, whether you are right or wrong.
Exactly, 50 or so judges and prosecutors of the future entered the school of the highest level of justice, mysteriously, through a completely suspicious, non-transparent, completely unbelievable process.
How does this differ from the deputy who goes to the parliament with the votes he bought or stole from the citizens?
As much integrity as that politician has, as much integrity and credibility as that judge and that prosecutor will have tomorrow.
What happened at the Magisterial School proves how far, how far, we are in the culture of becoming a state.
This proves that we are capable of desecrating anything from the student government elections in the 9th grade school to the parliamentary elections. We desecrate, from the fifth grade exam to the Magistrate's exam.
I am not a fatalist, but I am saying one thing with conviction:
Within a decade, the young men of this country will marry girls from Kosovo, not for love, but to obtain Kosovar citizenship.
