Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has reportedly died in one of Russia's notorious prisons, amid credible suspicions of a death caused by the Putin regime. Navalny, who for the past decade has led the opposition spirit in Russia through his charisma and the discretization of the Putin regime, surrendered in Russia after seeking treatment in a German clinic following the attempt to poison him to death three years ago.
He was arrested at the customs point and never managed to get out of prison, while he received 19 years in prison from consecutive sentences.
Sali Berisha is saddened today by the death of Navalny, and is trying to compare himself with him.
Our "Navalny", does not come from the opposition but comes from the power, twice prime minister, twice president, 19 towers offered as a gift to the daughter using the power, hundreds of hectares of land in the name of the son's friends on the coast, murder for political reasons in between the boulevards, state capture of the son's and daughter's businesses, and dozens of other serious crimes similar to those of the Putin regime.
Like Putin, Berisha has his Navalnys. He imprisoned the opposition leader Fatos Nano, a year after coming to power, only to challenge him in the local elections of 1992, four months after coming to power, defeating him. He then pursued him in court and in prison with humiliating methods, until he fled power in 1997 and he won his freedom.
Other critics of his when he was in power were humiliated, being beaten and massacred by his bodyguards, or civilians placed in his service, like thugs. He burned down newspaper offices, beat press leaders and opposition critics like Edi Rama, imprisoned journalists and blackmailed others with primitive methods of violence. In 1997, the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists named him one of the world's 10 enemies of press freedom.
People who tried to investigate his son's dirty business, like Kosta Trebicka, did not find themselves killed in prisons like Navalny, but in the distant meadows of Albania.
Even today "Our Navalny" has taken a step further. He is trying to create a political front in his defense. The so-called "non grata" Federation, which was announced today, has as its main objective the cessation of judicial proceedings against the "leaders of the opposition" who want to imprison them. And here we are talking about Sali Berisha, who is under investigation, Fatmir Mediu, who is under trial, and Ilir Meta or Monika Kryemadhi, who can be taken as defendants, as they are reported and under investigation.
So our Navalny, unlike the Russian one, is organizing a "non grata" Federation to save himself, while the Russian Navalny was trying to raise an opposition that would save Russia.
