Polls, since they were created as an important development in world politics, have become an important instrument. Which measures above all the temperature of the general perception of the population, using statistical samples, according to an already consolidated scientific method.
Even in Albania, it has been years since polls have turned into an instrument that is valid for analyzing the trend of the electorate in broad strokes. However, sometimes the polls before or on the day of the elections have created confusion, precisely because they did not shoot a reading, which is not as simple as it seems.
As the monthly survey regarding the political perception of the division of preference among the opposition forces is coming out.
As it became known from the survey prepared by Zaloshnja on Report TV, Foltorja e Berisha has a greater preference than PD e Basha, which is in quite low quotas, not even 3 percent.
True? This figure does not even resonate with the result that PD got in the local elections on May 14, 2023, where it reached over 100,000 votes at the national level, even though it was forbidden by the former number two Gaz Bardhi to enter with candidates for mayor in the majority of units.
Starting from this fact, i.e. not reading the perception of the votes that the DP of Basha may have in relation to the votes of May 14, leads to a slightly different approach.
Approach, which can have as an analogy precisely the elections of May 14, 2023. When almost all the polls conducted before the elections, did not read the clear victory of Benet Beci.
While the current mayor of Shkodra and his staff had a more in-depth poll that indicated a victory, other linear polls did not. There were even some who read the public perception as the undoubted victory of Bardh Spahia, the candidate for mayor of Shkodër.
In the end, Benet Beci reaped a victory that was neither last-minute nor close at all. It was capillary from every voting center in almost the entire territory of the municipality in Shkodër. And why didn't the linear polls read this result?

Against the coalition of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta and in favor of a candidate who presented an alternative idea, program and a completely different narrative for Shkodra.
In all likelihood, Benet Beci has received a hurricane of right-wing votes. Which did not appear and have not appeared in the polls. Because we are in a chaotic situation in the opposition circle.
While the logic of the perception in favor of the pulpit is more of an indication that comes from above, from televisions, broadcasts, the network and things like that, which translated into a more specific equation within the opposition, does not return. As he did not return to Shkodër, Tropoja, or even Kukës.
However, this "soul" of a political attitude that actually not only exists but is strong, must be organized. Until today, this part of the electorate has not decided who to vote for. That is why they are lined up in the 34 percent of those who will not vote. But there is a clear approach; they do not vote for Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
But who will they be willing to vote for as they did on May 14, 2023? In a new profile as happened with Benet Beci! And these are not gray electorates, but an archipelago of pure right-wing votes, ready to jump into action, if Lulzim Basha's PD comes out with names and surnames, and of course with clear ideas, but quickly.
Otherwise, it is not surprising that they also vote for the SP, or where they know of any new proposal that comes along the way, but never the old duo.
He showed it on May 14! You only have to read that vote to see what happened, almost this entire community is a high-level political power that demands real change, and refuses to be held hostage and lied to.
