Today they are the sheikhs of this country, and they have staggering wealth, and they appear on the screens again and give lectures on "democracy, freedom, power".
Whenever we get upset with politicians, we blame the international factor. Whenever we hear of corruption scandals, or political connections with dirty affairs and criminal groups, we blame the international factor. Then, why can't we say that the Albanians (that is, we) are powerless, we vote you out, we throw you away from the political scene? It's been 34 years since they took the breath away from Albanians, the country, the economy, the growth of well-being, which stop development, integration, which "freeze" the smiles on the lips of mothers, fathers, children, young men and women.
For 34 years, they have entered into debates and controversies with the people of work, the people of development, with the international factor, with every ambassador, to keep their post, mandate, assets, families and clan intact. It is the total indolence of the Albanians, the maintenance for more than 3 decades of a parasitic, thieving, perverse political class, of a political class that, even though it has had power, even though it has stolen with both hands, and has left nothing undone committed, even crimes in collaboration, requires rehabilitation, amnesty of sins and criminal offenses that are not yet being punished. Their provocation and attempt to smear the new bodies of justice, their intention to save themselves from facing the new justice, remains again the incompetence of the Albanians, to show them their deserved place.
Albania and Albanians cannot be held hostage forever, by a handful of slandered, stigmatized, and sometimes unvoted politicians. They remain accused by the majority of Albanians, of bought elections, of abuse of power, of beating political opponents, of being connected to traffic and corrupt affairs. Today they are the sheikhs of this country, and they have staggering wealth, and they appear on the screens again and give lectures on "democracy, freedom, power".
Even after 34 years of transition (since it can still be called such), post-communist Albania still holds on the pedestal of politics, names and figures who should have been brought to justice in time. Albanians still carry with "oxygen" politicians accused and branded for criminal offenses, related to traffic and crime, but also violators of international conventions, helping war criminals in the Balkans.
The incompetence of the Albanians must end. This cannot be defined as a logical concept, but must be presented as a problem for solution, so that in the new elections of 2025, we vote for those who should have been in prison for years, and not in front of the screens and on top of the balconies, giving us giving lectures on ideology, or threatening prosecutors.
