Why did LaCivita abandon Berisha's campaign?

His departure without noise and fuss, unlike what appeared when he was introduced in February, is simply Berisha's first major defeat!

The strategist for Berisha’s Democratic Party’s electoral campaign fled to the US after attending the campaign launch. Even though Berisha promised the Democrats that “the US has turned their blood into water” that he would stay until the end of the campaign – and even though Flamur promised that he would stay until December, even after the campaign – he came, saw and left.

Instead of recommendations, LaCivita himself inserted three 30-second speeches as personal contributions and left no trace in the campaign. Along with him, Paul Manafort, Berisha's real lobbyist who attracted LaCivita to this campaign, has also disappeared - a man accused and convicted in the US of being Putin's link to Donald Trump's campaign in 2016, for which he was sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison.

The payment is not the reason for leaving. Even though they are expensive, Berisha has more money than them to pay for them. It is a little difficult to justify them with a bank, but Manafort finds plenty of Russian connections where he can transfer them. It is not that the DP does not have experience in this regard.

What has removed LaCivita from the campaign seems to be the hopeless polls for Berisha and the inability to implement his own ideas in a primitive campaign, dominated by Berisha's dementia and the pearls of Klevis, Flamur and Vrenozi, who are shining in the stupidity competition, which are presented as LaCivita's ideas.

His departure without noise and fuss, unlike what appeared when he was introduced in February, is simply Berisha's first strong defeat in the strongest weapon he tried to use in this campaign: presenting him as an envoy of President Trump. LaCivita himself even burned this weapon, denying it and clearly emphasizing that he does not represent the American government and is not lobbying for the removal of Berisha's "non grata".

Berisha postponed February with the presentation of LaCivita, March with the lie that he will flee to the US, April with the lie that he will receive an invitation from the UN to enter the US without having his "non grata" removed, and May, as expected, by saying that "they stole my votes."

For this agenda, it is not necessary to pay for LaCivita's work every day, because these failures are in his pocket.

Berisha's justification that he is online with LaCivita every day and guides him is even more serious, since Berisha's campaign - as is clear - is a drag on Edi Rama and there is no chance that LaCivita would suggest such a strategy. This shows that: either he does not consult LaCivita at all about how the campaign is being run, or what we all think: he turned off his phone and opened it on May 11 to ask him "how did the campaign go?" and "when will you pay me?".

It's not that if LaCivita were to stay here he would turn the situation around, but as a man who enjoys both money and victory, he cannot give his CV such a disappointing loss – as his colleague in the Trump campaign, McLaughlin, the pollster who predicted Trump's victory in 2016 and 2024, pointed out. Simply put, LaCivita will not identify with Berisha's loss. He can only participate in the condolences.
