It is a power struggle, where Gazment Bardhi is the man in command who has all the seals and symbols of the Democratic Party in his hand, contesting every decision and action of other bodies such as the presidency or even the DP branches in the country's 61 municipalities.
More precisely than a power struggle, it is Bardhi's resistance, taking advantage of the position he holds in order not to become "wheat" for the rest, and thus to remove as many obstacles as possible in the election of Lulzim Basha as the chairman of the Democratic Party on July 29.

Bardhi is a deputy who has broken relations with the DP branch of Elbasan where he is a political leader, but also with the other branches that he, as Secretary General, has the duty to coordinate.
Why Bardhi's last "uprising" has nothing to do with
The cause of this broken relationship is of course not only Gazment Bardhi, as this story started as a conspiracy before the expulsion of Sali Berisha from the parliamentary group in September 2021. When Lulzim Basha, created short connections with the heads of PD branches, organized together with them the resistance of January 8, 2022, when they successfully stopped the "invasion" of the Berishian fury. When Lulzim Basha, planned the steps of a trap tactic against Berisha and Meta, as a response to the trap of March 6, 2022. Even after his resignation, Lulzim Basha did not cease contacts with the PD base, which really turned into a large Bashist army. Although this was reflected very little in the opinion and the media, it was a reality that put its stamp on May 14.
In other words, the General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, was kept away from his people who had the power to maintain the employment relationship. But, Mr. Bardhi knew this, and according to all the possibilities, but also the developments, he did not accept it, and he said his own many times. But in politics you have to take a stand. There are two ways in this case; either Bardhi would try to convince and lobby the grassroots to defend his ideas, or leave a party where he does not find himself. The de facto departure came on May 14, where Bardhi together with Jorida Tabaku and a group of deputies opposed the plan of the DP base to compete with their candidates. E cila natyrisht nuk ishte e menduar, por e shtyrë prej një inercie, e ajo që ka rëndësi pa dëgjuar demokratët në territor. Gjithsesi, Bardhi por edhe të tjerët kanë një shans të fundit. Të paraqesin një mocion, një ide, një program sesi e duan PD dhe çfarë i ofrojnë atyre demokratëve që nuk u bënë me foltoren. E të sfidojnë Lulzim Bashën qoftë edhe duke lobuar tek demokratët për të mos e votuar më 29 korrik. Tjetër rrugë në PD nuk kanë. Nuk është çështje vule.
