Why PD is worried about the new elections on August 4

Given that DP is a minority in the Municipality of Himara, counting the voters imported from Greece, it should be happy as it has the chance to feel safe with the help of Greece.

After the announcement of the August 4 elections in Himarë, the Democratic Party of Sali Berisha attacked the President of the Republic and the CEC, which declared Beler's mandate invalid and set the date for new elections.

Normally, DP should be the first to welcome this decision. And there are many reasons.

The main reason is that they have now received the PD seal and logo and say they are more united than ever.

Greece is also more united than ever around Beleri.

Given that DP is a minority in the Municipality of Himara, counting the voters imported from Greece, it should be happy as it has the chance to feel safe with the help of Greece.

DP's concern reveals the fact that they feel powerless and unable to compete, even though in reality it is not their race, and if they win, and if they lose.

Even more unbearable is the discourse of the debate whether Beleri stole votes or not in the elections in Himara.

The bitter truth is that Beleri has been punished for being caught buying 10 votes, which are nothing.

What everyone knows and is the bitter reality, is that all PBDNJ votes in Himare are bought, not by Beleri, but by those who are behind Beleri. All the voters who come by bus from Greece organized to vote are practically pre-purchased votes, as they are paid for their travel, vote, and are controlled by the sponsors of the vote buying. They are probably the only elections in the world where every vote is paid for as they are imported voters not at their own expense. And this practice in Albania must end.

For the sake of the truth, this is what SP and DP do, paying some immigrants to come and vote every time there is an election, and it is vote buying that should be investigated.

For SP and DP, those votes are 0.5 of the vote in the district where they vote, while in the case of Himara, they are 100 per 100 of the pre-purchased votes, as they are organized and paid voters who come from Greece.

In this aspect, Beler's punishment is symbolic and he is punished like the "horse that boils in the threshing floor" and is made to taste the wheat, but in fact the votes for him are bought by someone else, not himself. He just wants to make a small contribution himself.

So the debate about the theft of votes in Himara is shameful when it revolves around the 10 votes that Beleri captured. Votes in Himare are bought in the eyes of all Albanians before the voting begins.

They come in buses, vote, sing that song about Spiro Milo and leave.

So it is not a debate whether the votes in Himare are bought or not by PBDNJ, but it is a debate whether PBDNJ and Berisha can win with the votes bought by Greece on their behalf.

The PD's panic today raises many doubts. I think that Greece will mobilize more than Berisha on August 4 and he probably does not need to start the campaign with such fear and curses. He is the minority of the minority in Himara.

But at least be happy that they are entering the campaign with a stamp and logo. At least he won't say I lost to Lulzim Basha, if he loses. And stop talking about stealing votes in a process where votes are bought in front of everyone.
