Berisha has been singing his political pentagram for 35 years, the famous song "O unë mbret, o nuk vij fare". It was a ritual of young ages, like a children's song somewhere in the South. The eternal leader of the DP is also doing this. Either he becomes prime minister, or he does not recognize the election results. This song and melody have been around since 1992. He did not recognize the first elections, he did not recognize the second, he did not recognize the third, the fourth, and even those of May 11. "Copuk, thief, manipulator, abuser, you won with gangs, with millions". This is what I and my children have been hearing for 35 years, from the mouth of Sali Berisha.
Is it worth listening to him again, spoiling our mood and personal situation with his jokes? Of course not. Saliu is a man of "deals" and those who believe in him are often mistaken, as if he were a "saint or worse yet an idealist". In the DP, there are still boys, girls, men and women who say "Saliu is honest, he is our Skanderbeg, without him we will never win power". There are those of them, who have the office next to his in the headquarters, who say "God sent Sali Berisha to earth for us". And this is quite a man of integrity.
Of course he says it, because he is a born servile. But how does he have a majority there in the DP. But returning to May 11, I wanted to say that Berisha is the first to have known the elections and the result, even though he knows very well that, in Tirana and the surrounding areas, there have been completely incompetent people who have stimulated the defeat with a free and not at all bought vote. But he always has to do the ritual, the scenario. He does not know the elections, he does not know the result, the governance, he does not know the prime minister, he does not know the head of the CEC, he does not know the foreign ambassadors, he does not know the OSCE, ODHIR, etc...
Until yesterday, he didn't even know the USA. But inside, Berisha knows very well how much his "commissioners" give, in Tirana and the surrounding areas. They have already gotten used to the comfort of being in the opposition. They know that Berisha, at most, has the "power" to go around the affairs and problems of the DP even in this 4-year period. They are now focused on their ambitions of "who will take over the DP after Saliu". Many names have been mentioned, many individuals inside and outside that headquarters are being mentioned, but Saliu "doesn't sleep easily".
He wants to hand over the party to a trusted person, to a person who will ask him about everything even after he leaves. So I say with conviction that, even if the "forums" decide that "the May 11 elections will not be recognized", Berisha will still stand behind them and declare "we will enter Parliament, because we are not an anarchist party, but a democratic one, we will respect the vote of our supporters".
So, in any case, Berisha emerges as the "savior, and visionary leader", who saves the DP. In that party, there have been years that politics has not been produced, there have been years that there have been no debates, dialogue, opposition, factions, there have been years that new shoots have not been born and grown, who will take its fate in their hands tomorrow. There, only the sentence, speech and stature of Chairman Berisha are cultivated.
