Out of 10,000 model simulations, in a full 68% of the simulations, the computer "match" ended with Albania's victory, while in 22.3% of them it ended in a draw.
On the eve of the highly anticipated Albania-Latvia match, I built a statistical simulation model based on public statistics of the players collected by both sides, as well as the matches played by both national teams over the last 12 months.
Out of 10,000 simulations of the model, in a full 68% of the simulations the computer “match” ended with Albania winning, while in 22.3% of them it ended in a draw. Only 9.7% of the simulations ended with Latvia winning.
