Why does DP not know how to win?

But why does the DP not know how to "hit" the mark politically, win the elections, why this DP has never had the luck to be democratic, right-wing, and to have convincingly won a party in general and local elections?

It has been years since we heard the same words, sentences, phrases, recitations and speeches of Berisha. It has been years since the time of Fatos Nano, when he labeled him "the most corrupt man in the Balkans, the man who has ties to crime and trafficking groups", and his government as "the most incriminated government on the planet". Without removing any commas, those speeches are still given today by the former historical leader of a party that today can neither be called democratic nor right-wing. This is due to the fact that the democratic parties, especially in Europe, or the right-wing ones, have a different color and political definition. They have a different approach to the problems faced by their people and their country.

But Berisha's Democratic Party has nothing to do with those "sisters" that he tries to refer to. Another argument is the way the right-wing and democratic parties in Europe do the opposition, the campaign, the protest, its radicalization, going all the way to elections and voting. But why does the DP not know how to "hit" the mark politically, win the elections, why this DP has never had the luck to be democratic, right-wing, and to have convincingly won a party in general and local elections? I think it lacks proper leadership, proper management strategy, vision and foresight. I think it lacks names, figures, new approaches to basic structures and circles, it also lacks the spirit and confidence that it should first instill in its own people.

Even after 2 decades, Berisha tries to make the opposition "strong" as he did with Nano and his cabinet. He tends to make the "conservative" even with the bodies of the new justice, as he once did with Ina Rama, and the old justice, which was not assigned and put totally under the orders of politics. They say a word, "new time, new habits". In 2024, you can't speak and make propaganda to your supporters, with standard speeches, taken from the archive, just changing the names of the characters. In the democratic world, politicians speak, denounce and accuse with facts, and the facts go to the right place, to the doors of justice.

It is really a great luck, that today every accusation and public denunciation, especially when it comes from politics, is registered, investigated, and takes the path of judgment, quite different from what happened when Berisha was prime minister, and the DP was in power. You cannot repeat yourself every day by accusing, calling from the balcony or the party headquarters that "this government is a den of crime, corrupt, that "X" minister and "Y" MP is connected to gangs and traffic" or that "so many million euros were stolen". After everything is administered, copied and verified, it is sent to the doors of justice, which has the legal obligation to start verification and investigation.

Berisha is currently campaigning with old standards and at the wrong pace, negatively affecting his supporters. The upcoming campaign of 2025 requires serious commitments, deep in ideas, development programs, and the right staff to be able to withstand the fury of Edi Rama.

You cannot face the "mountain" of the works done and the promises kept by Rama's government, without finding the right way to get out of apathy and political supremacy. You have to know how to win, and in politics when you are often wrong, you hardly win.
