In every opposition protest in the world, the inspiration is the political opposition and the people are its supporters. It is the political opposition that inspires hope, shows faith in change and brings closer the chances for it to happen. With us, it is the opposite.
Sali Berisha has already created two different political worlds, the political world of his party and the political world of the opposition people. They are two worlds completely isolated from each other. The party world asks the opposition people's world to fight so that the party world can win.
The political world of his party is unchanging, it does not accept changes, it does not accept reform, it does not accept new names, it does not accept competition, it does not accept intellectuals above the level of Flamur, it does not accept fighters above the level of Gazi, it does not accept beautiful women above the level of Albana, it does not accept brave men above the level of Paloka, it does not accept orators above the level of Klevis, it does not accept honest men above the level of Gjin Gjoni, and so on, endlessly defending the status quo within the party.
The goal is to not change the administrative set that provides Berisha with the feeling that he is the president. And to preserve them, they should not be taken out into battle, but should be preserved.
When there are elections, we call on independent opposition parties to run. If they lose, the responsibility lies with them and the government “that stole their votes.” At least that’s what was said about the last elections on November 9. Although it’s a completely illogical sentence, why should the government steal votes in a race that it has won with anonymous people, this doesn’t bother Berisha. The important thing is to look like there was a plan.
Now that he will have to protest, the same scenario is playing out. They are calling on the opposition people of Albania to protest for them. There are many desperate and troubled people in this country and they need to be moved to protest, "for their own sake, because if it is for Berisha, he has a good job."
This rhetoric is a continuation of the battle scheme with independent candidates, where the opposition leadership was put in a bunker and the opposition people in the gladiator arena.
In every opposition protest in the world, the inspiration is the political opposition and the people are its supporters. It is the political opposition that inspires hope, shows faith in change and brings closer the chances for it to happen. With us, it is the opposite.
Our opposition wants the people to protest to revive the opposition and inspire it, even reform it. If the protest fails, the people fail. If the protest succeeds, then it means that the people revived the opposition.
So now we have an opposition hierarchy that has seized the political monopoly of the opposition and expects the battles to be fought by opposition members who are not affiliated with the party, otherwise the opposition's power will be damaged and a people who are asked to inspire the opposition that has lost inspiration due to the age of the leader.
For this, the opposition leader owes the people a debt. He has announced protests every Monday. Whoever does not want the opposition to be revived no longer has the right to hold the opposition accountable for not winning. They have done their part. Now the ball is in the court of the opposition people.
