There is an absurd panorama of the long war that is taking place within the opposition since the loss of the elections of April 25, 2021. And especially after the declaration of non grata of Sali Berisha.
Here, in this decisive space of Albanian society, since the opposition in a country that makes elections is an institution, there is a quite unusual panorama of a battle that is not being fought face to face.
The only ones who are more clear in this battle are Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta, who, even though they are competitors with each other, have a common goal. To throw out the anti-Berisha and pro-US opposition, which is also legally legal.
They tried since September 2021, either with frenetic campaigns, with wild medieval attacks, cunning palace intrigues like on January 8, but they still couldn't make a political power irrelevant, which, although weakened, has more weight politically than the two most powerful in 33 years.
The most normal explanation, because Berisha and Meta could not get their anti-opposition out of the game, is simple. In this community, that is, in the opposition people, there is a clear spirit coming from below that does not love them. In addition, the two major world powers: the USA and the EU are against it, which is not a little.
After all, in politics, no one can move forward without allies. DP in 1991, would not have overthrown the government of Fatos Nano, if it did not have the USA behind it. According to all probabilities, the ALP or even the SP would govern until 1995 quite normally, and could even get a second mandate.
March 22, 1992, came to Albania only because it was strongly pushed by America, and all the democrats who were present in those developments know this very well.
So, both Berisha and Meta have not been able to "conquer" the heart of the DP, which is its structural base built up over years and years. And this is nothing but a political defeat. In the May 14 elections, they suffered the loss of democratic voters.
What happens now? It happens that the opposition has only one strategic solution; to create a political core, which, in addition to taking all those who did not vote for the SP, all those who do not vote at all in general, also convince those who occasionally vote for the SP. And this cannot be done without clarifying the political project, identity, program and alternative.
The logic of Pindaric movements, which has received the name "pragmatic" but since the Greek means according to interest, has turned out to be completely misguided. The opposition must build a center that creates gravity, and not individual movements as happened with all the people who supported the pulpit, winked at the pulpit, or cooperated under the rug with it.
There are two ways: Can there be an opposition with Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta or not? Basha's exit, meanwhile, can be contested and criticized by everyone, but logically, someone will have to challenge him, except for the memjechi who are fed by him. Nobody remembers Lul Basha today from his 1000 sins, but because he was the only one who expelled Sali Berisha. A dream for all the democrats that Berisha followed and removed, approached and befriended, but that they could not do.
Today, Basha has a trump card: I don't regret that I expelled him because I want an opposition without Berisha. The rival of this opposition must beat Basha starting from this point.

Një nga këto është Muslim Murrizi, politikani më serioz i asaj që quhet opozita parlamentare e 2019-s. Çfarë s’i thanë kur nuk pranoi që të dorëzojë mandatin, por që në realitet ai ka bërë veprimin ndoshta më të rëndësishëm të karrierës së tij. Që e vlerësoi dhe e përkrahu SHBA e BE.

Luli has done this, his challenger should logically be an anti-Berishian but challenge him in the idea of the new opposition. If it's just going to be a pulpit creeper, they'll just shoot it down. As happened with Evi Kokalaro, but she is not the only one...
