The Albanians rejected the opposition offers on May 14. They rejected Berisha, Meta and what was left of Basha. They rejected them because they are not a real opposition, that they are terribly outdated and that they do not bring any benefit to Albanians.
These oppositionists were rejected because they have little difference from the government. Rama's power is corrupt, failing, worn out. Yes, and the opposition, especially the opposition leaders, Berisha and Meta, have been ousted from power as corrupt, exhausted, failed. Rama's power is arrogant, arbitrary and dominated by the One. All those in power live with their eyes on him, on the One. Even the opposition parties suffer from the same diseases. They are arrogant, arbitrary and dominated by the One. The rotation would not change anything in the eyes of the people.
Complaining that Rama and the government are stealing is not enough, when Berisha and Meta have left power with the same accusations. It is not an alternative to tell the Albanians in a broken voice that we have never done things like these. You cannot be an alternative when the only difference is the timing and extent of the corruption. Complaining that Rama and his power bought votes and stole the elections is useless, when both Berisha and Meta have done this themselves. They even stole from each other. Therefore, the Berisha-Meta opposition does not claim to be a victim of vote theft or vote buying. The accusation that Rama and his government have captured the media is weakened, when everyone sees that the opposition and especially the duo Berisha-Meta have the media completely under their control.
The Berisha-Meta opposition is not an alternative. It is not even the way to make opposition. Because this is not the real opposition. This is the official opposition that came from power, that has in its possession the means that it secured and benefited from when it was in power, and with these means it controls the opposition forces. In fact, control over the opposition is their primary goal. Not the overthrow of Rama's power. Their only goal is to replace Rama with the duo Berisha-Meta. Therefore, this is not the opposition, but it is the power of the opposition. Therefore, the militants and ardent voters should not be surprised why we do not win. The vote of militants and fanatics has been and will always be given to each side, regardless of good or evil. But the vote of those who want change does not come.
Albanians did not only reject the interests of the rulers who lead the opposition. They also rejected the accounts of those who follow them. The opposition salarymen refused. They refused those who intend to take the queue in the forums of the Berisha-Meta parties in the hope that they will get a bite if they come to power. They refused those who aim for a career and getting employment and a salary as MPs, advisers, clerks, tenderers, tax collectors, customs officers, etc. Albanians are not bad at securing a career, employment and money from opposition shadows. No one is worried about how many people from BF are ready to change their name with the surname Tatimolli and Doganllari, Tenderolli or Koncensionllari.
Albanians also rejected opposition candidates who entered the race to gain fame, popularity and career without doing politics. Worse still, compromising with evil. Rejected by those who want to profit even when we all lose. Rejected all those who make fraudulent choices.
The Albanians rejected and anyone from the need for a belief, even if hopeless, politically chose to follow the hopeless duo Berisha-Meta. Many, including political and non-political people, invented or accepted any argument that swayed them to believe in a mission they knew was impossible.
The intelligent arguments of analysts, polemicists, opinion writers who with talent and passion argued and spread the hope of victory were also rejected. I have a friendly advice, even the best theory is brought down by an ugly fact. The result is that "ugly" fact that should no longer be ignored. Much less consciously.
Unfortunately the result is still ignored. The opposition rulers, the Berisha-Meta duo, careerist followers, ambitious candidates, fraudulent accountants, analysts, polemicists, fans all reject the "ugly" fact, the result. The bad news is that from now on they do it consciously.
The rejection will continue. It will deepen. The rulers and officials of the opposition will reject the Albanians and the Albanians will again reject the rulers and the salarymen of the opposition.
Llogaritë e vjetra nuk janë kurrë mundësi. As rrugët e vjetra nuk të çojnë në destinacione të reja. Udhëheqësit pushtetarë të opozitës refuzojnë të reflektojnë. Kaq të kithët janë sot opozita zyrtare dhe populli.
Për ata që duan të bëjnë opozitë dhe politikë dhe që nuk duan të jenë më të refuzuar ka vetëm një mundësi. Reflektimi është mundësi. Ata që nuk duan të mbeten të refuzuar, mos presin të reflektojnë dhe të largohen pushtetarët e opozitës. Nuk do hapë rrugë Berisha-Meta. Nuk do ikin për t’ia lënë dikujt. Por, nëse nuk ikin ata, mund të ikni ju nga ata.
Vendi ka nevojë për opozitë të vërtetë! Opozitë që dallon kryekëput nga pushteti. Vendi ka shumë opozitarë. Opozitarë janë dhe ata që dje votuan pushtetin. Edhe ata janë në opozitë me pushtetin se duan dhe kërkojnë të shërbehen. Ka shumë lëndë opozitare, por ka pak mjete jashtë pushtetit të opozitës.
Therefore, whoever will be in opposition must look for new ways. Anyone who feels oppositional, anyone who is engaged in politics must reflect and boldly seek new paths today. Those who will continue to follow the opposition leaders should know that no one is cleansed in the stagnant waters of rejection.
