The judicial body, a test of how Berisha's own people can judge him

Today, after learning about the judging panel and making sure it was his "golden" trio, he continued to attack Irena Gjoka, the judge who imposed security measures, who has no role in his further trial.

The panel of judges that will try Sali Berisha is a good case to understand how the new justice system will function, when all three judges are Berisha supporters, while the president of the panel is also formally the first cousin of Berisha's MP Andia Ulliri. If we had a similar case in the trial of Veliaj, Beqja or anyone else, where the judges were so close to the SP, even in conflict of interest, Berisha would have turned the world upside down.

Today, after learning about the judging panel and making sure it was his "golden" trio, he continued to attack Irena Gjoka, the judge who imposed security measures, who has no role in his further trial.

Normally, in his tradition, he should have started cursing Mrs. Ulliri with a book, but he almost hit his MP's "sister" and a PD militant family. The other two as well.

It's more or less like he's appearing in the DP Court, headed by Adriana Kalaja. And this is a good opportunity to understand Sali Berisha's entire attitude towards justice in Albania.

First, we have to see if Berisha, from today onwards, will defend Arjan Ndoja's mandate in Durrës, which Andia Ulliri, the "sister" of the judge who heads the panel, claims, or not?

It's not that he has much to do on this point, because it's up to the CEC, but his behavior should be seen. If you asked him about this issue yesterday, he would of course have said: "This issue is closed." Let's see now if he will mention his exculpatory phrase: "Every MP has the right to demand his rights."

Next we have to see if the draw-maker, who is also his soldier, has chosen them by hand with a prior agreement, or has chosen them with certainty that he has exercised them and has not yet made any bargains. This will be understood from the way Berisha and the groom will treat them. If he starts and becomes aggressive, he is showing them that they should reflect quickly and close the trial and not drag it out waiting to gain time. If he remains silent like today, then it seems that he has put matters on hold.

And finally, when the trial is over and they save him, you will see that he will praise them as brave and professional judges, who faced the dictatorship of Edi Rama and Altin Dumani, but ultimately remained true to their principles.

But all of this has its advantages. The first is that we will have a legal process that will finally be accepted by Berisha, since, just like elections, Berisha does not accept any legal process where he loses.

Secondly, we will have a confrontation between the authority of SPAK and the Court, which has so far proven to be only a notary of SPAK, and will create a climate for discussing criminal offenses more calmly, rather than the initial prejudice against them.

And what is most important, we will understand that the new judiciary, especially the Anti-Corruption Court, is mostly filled with Berisha militants, who, in addition to persecuting every accused who opposes him, are ready to accept any of his attacks, as long as they are given the chance to serve him.
