Lawyer Andrea Zotaj, part of the Chamber of Advocates, Gjirokastër, escaped an assassination attempt yesterday evening in Memaliaj. The incident took place on the old road of the village of Qesarat while lawyer Zotaj, accompanied by his nephew, were going to the area with their vehicle.
36-year-old Fatos Lamaj from the village of Ane Vjosë had ambushed them.

After escaping the execution, the lawyer Zotaj reported the incident to the Police Station and then the investigative team went to the scene where they found the bullets fired from the Kalashnikov and then made it possible to arrest the aggressor Lamaj.
