The Durrës police have arrested the 39-year-old from Shijaku Ismet Zoto who had a conflict with a young girl from Barcelona.
The 39-year-old had a conflict with 23-year-old Darjana Linares on March 6 of this month in a hotel in Durres. The latter jumped from the balcony of the apartment, ending up on the roof of the bar.
Ismet Zoto is accused of using this citizen and 4 others who lived with him for prostitution. According to the police, the young man used foreign nationals for prostitution in a hotel in the coastal city.
"The in-depth investigations continue to bring forward the criminal responsibility, the citizens implicated in a case of prostitution, beaten by the Police, on March 6, 2024.
The 39-year-old who had a conflict with the 23-year-old from Barcelona is put in handcuffs. He is accused of using this citizen and 4 other foreigners for prostitution in a rented apartment in neighborhood no. 2, where narcotics were also consumed.
Earlier, 5 foreign nationals were criminally prosecuted for the case.
As a result of the investigative actions, carried out at the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, to fully determine the authorship and circumstances of keeping an apartment in neighborhood no. 2, Durrës, for prostitution and consumption of narcotics, the specialists of the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of DVP Durrës executed the order of the Prosecutor's Office, for the arrest of citizen IZ, 39 years old, resident of Shijak.
In relation to the case, the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been assigned to this citizen, for the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution ", the police announced.
