A 37-year-old man ended up in the hospital, where he has been receiving the necessary medical help since yesterday, after he accidentally fell from the building where he was working.
The police announced today that in connection with the case, a 42-year-old man was arrested, the administrator of the company that was dealing with the construction of the building, while the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen VG, 70 years old, with the duty of implementing engineer in this company.
"Following the preliminary information given yesterday, about the fall of a worker from the fourth floor of a building under construction, we inform you that the crime investigation specialists of the Vlora Police Station arrested the citizen LC, 42 years old, resident of the village of Babicë e Vogël, with the duty of administrator of the company that was carrying out the works for the construction of this building, and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for citizen VG, 70 years old, with the duty of implementing engineer in this company.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the worker, citizen A. Sh., 27 years old, accidentally fell from the fourth floor of the building under construction, while using a machine for which he was not trained. The 27-year-old is receiving treatment at the Trauma Hospital. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
