A 33-year-old man has lost his life in the Mat River, after allegedly falling while climbing a rope and falling into a sinkhole.
A 33-year-old man has lost his life after allegedly drowning in the Mat River, near the Ura e Vasha Bridge in Klos.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon, while young Erkin Lika was rope climbing. According to preliminary suspicions, he fell and ended up in the river waters, where he is thought to have fallen into a sinkhole.
After the incident was reported, numerous search forces were launched in the area, while RENEA unit divers intervened to find and recover the body.
Despite the efforts of search teams, it has not yet been possible to recover the 33-year-old's body from the water.
