A person was injured by gunfire this evening in Tirana.
According to police, a 48-year-old man presented to the hospital with a wound to his leg, which he said was accidentally caused by the pistol he was cleaning.
The police also announced that the weapon possessed by the 48-year-old, a resident of Fresk, was licensed and his life is out of danger.
"On 25.05.2025, at around 21:20, citizen AK, 48 years old, resident of Fresk, presented himself for treatment at the hospital with a gunshot wound. He stated that while cleaning the firearm, a pistol, which he possesses with a permit, he was accidentally wounded in the leg, but his life was not in danger," the police announced.
