New details have emerged from the police operation where an arsenal of weapons was discovered in the Selita area of ​​Tirana.

According to police sources, it is learned that the weapons were kept in a three-story villa and were sold from there in an organized manner. When buyers went to pick them up, the owners of the weapons would come out of the apartment, put them in a box in the form of a package and then hand them over to the people who had placed the order.

The investigation into this criminal group began about two months ago by Police Station No. 3 in the capital. The police managed to document the illegal activity of this arms sales network. Through infiltrating agents, controlled purchases of weapons were carried out by members of the criminal group, which were filmed and accompanied by legal evidence.

After this phase, a police operation was also undertaken, where four people were arrested and 8 firearms, a shotgun, a bulletproof vest, ammunition, three radios similar to those of the police and nine mobile phones were seized. As for prices, the firearms, mainly Glock type pistols, were sold on the black market for up to 5 thousand euros each, while automatics were sold for up to 3 thousand euros.

Citizens Gloris Nezaj, Rezarto Rumi, Kelvin Caushi and Ardjan Caushi were arrested , suspected of being part of a group that engaged in illegal arms trade.

Meanwhile, according to "A2 CNN", the police are also investigating the possibility that a highly dangerous person is located near the three-story villa in Selita, who is suspected of being the leader of this criminal group.
