27-year-old Marash Gjoklaj is not an unknown name to the police. He was arrested today for sexual harassment of a girl in Tirana, while previously he was sentenced to 4 years in prison for rape, but managed to get his freedom on bail. The latter, it seems, the young man took advantage of to commit criminal offenses again.
In addition to the harassment of the 19-year-old last night at her workplace, the Blues announce that he threatened another girl with a cutting tool yesterday at "Rruga e Dibra".
6 years ago, in December 2017, Gjoklaj tried to rob a woman in Babrru. An attempt that failed, as he ended up being taken hostage in the basement of a nearby building, where he was physically abused by the 42-year-old's son and two of his friends.
Gjoklaj, then 21 years old, was arrested for threats and illegal possession of cold weapons. He is also known as a drug user.
