A 47-year-old man has been arrested by the police of Elbasan and 2 employees of the Road Transport Directorate have been declared wanted as part of the coded operation "Fraud".
37-year-old Thanas Beko, who, in collaboration with 2 employees of DRSHTRR Elbasan, sold 3 vehicles that he had rented, was arrested.
Wanted: RL, 25 years old and IB, 33 years old, both residents of Elbasan, both employees of DRSHTRR Elbasan.
It is learned that Thanas Beko and one of the employees had rented 3 vehicles and then removed their GPS and falsified the ownership documents and other documents, sold them for 20,000 euros.
According to the official announcement of the Blues, two of his associates, who are employees of DRSHTRR in Elbasan, have been declared wanted. It is known that the vehicles were sold against the value of 20,000 euros. The 3 vehicles were seized by the Police, along with 3 mobile phones.
"DVP Elbasan/In implementation of the measures defined in the operational plan "Rule of Law", the coded police operation "Fraud" was finalized. They sold 3 vehicles that they had rented, after removing the GPS and falsifying the documents, a 37-year-old man was arrested, and efforts are being made to arrest his accomplice, an employee of DRSHTRR Elbasan.
The police is also working to arrest another employee of DRSHTRR Elbasan, as he is suspected of having helped these 2 citizens, by forging ownership documents on vehicles. 3 vehicles and 3 mobile phones are seized.
Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, in implementation of the measures defined in the "Rule of Law" operational plan, for cracking down on criminal activities and bringing to the fore the legal responsibility of the citizens who commit them, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of the First Degree of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, based on the report made by a citizen who rented vehicles, that they had rented 3 vehicles and had not returned them, organized and finalized the police operation coded "Fraud" , for clarifying the case.
As a result of this operation, in cooperation with the services of the Elbasan Police Station, a citizen was arrested: Th. B., 37 years old, resident of Elbasan. The following citizens were also declared wanted: RL, 25 years old and IB, 33 years old, both residents of Elbasan, both employees of DRSHTRR Elbasan.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the citizen Th. B. and citizen RL rented 3 vehicles and after removing the GPS and falsifying the ownership documents and other documents, they sold them for 20,000 euros.
For the falsification of vehicle documents, the citizen RL misused his duty at DRSHTRR Elbasan, in cooperation with the other employee, the citizen IB. Work continues to capture these two citizens, identify and capture other citizens involved in this criminal activity.
The 3 vehicles were seized by the Police, along with 3 mobile phones. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions", informs the Elbasan police.
