A serious accident occurred at the exit of the Selenica bridge, on the new Kolonja road. According to the police, a vehicle went off the road and crashed into the concrete side barriers.
As a result of the accident, a married couple, the driver and the passenger of the car were injured.
They were removed from the car with the help of an ambulance and transported to Korça Hospital, where their lives are out of danger.
Police have arrived at the scene and are continuing investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
"On the "Ersekë-Korçë" road axis, citizen EI, while driving the vehicle, is suspected of having lost control of its direction and as a result the vehicle went off the road.
"The accident injured citizen EI and his wife, a passenger in the vehicle, citizen Xh.I., who are receiving treatment at the Korça hospital," the police announced .
