Serious accident in Tirana, car hits pedestrian to death

An accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian has been recorded in Tirana, while the police have arrested the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident.

According to the police, the accident occurred on May 18 on the road to the village of Damjan, where the vehicle driven by citizen OK, 26, hit pedestrian BA, 57.

As a result of the impact, the 57-year-old was seriously injured and was immediately transported to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries.

After the incident, the police arrested the driver of the vehicle, while the investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
