Flames burn down the fruit and vegetable market in Lushnje

A fire has engulfed the fruit and vegetable market in Lushnje. As a result of the flames, extensive material damage is reported, while no injuries have been reported.

The flames were discovered around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. Reports indicate that the flames have destroyed a significant portion of the market and its merchandise.

The market is monitored by security cameras, which may shed light on the causes of the fire.

This is not the first time that markets in different cities of the country have been engulfed in flames. Markets in Tirana or Durrës have not escaped the fires, while investigations have not revealed whether they were intentional or caused by negligence.
