It is learned that the driver of the vehicle immediately left the scene, but the police managed to arrest the 16-year-old.
The accident happened this afternoon in the Kamen neighborhood, while the police are investigating to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
"The incident happened around 18:00 in the Kamen neighborhood, where a minor child was hit by a vehicle, the driver of which fled the scene of the accident.
After a series of intense investigative and procedural actions, the State Police managed to identify and arrest the driver of the vehicle, a citizen of AK, who is 16 years old. He was accompanied to the police station for further investigation.
The investigative group is still at the scene and is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
