Shkruar nga PamfletiThe appeal of GJKKO has upheld the arrest in prison for Plarent Dervishaj, accused of murdering Vajdin Lamaj, Artan Arsi and Klodjan Saliu.
On August 15, after the extradition from Dubai, Dervish was informed of the security measure of "prison arrest" in absentia for the murders of Klodian Saliu and Vajdin Lame, crimes that occurred in 2005, as well as for the assassination of former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj in 2019.
"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of judges Florjan Kalaja (chairman), Iliriana Olldashi (member) and Miliana Muça (member), today on 17.09.2024, announced the decision on the criminal case no. 188 act, dated 11.09.2024, registered on the complaint of the defendant/complainant PD, with the object: "Appeal against the decision no. 103, dated 16.08.2024 of the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime ( decided on the request for change of insurance measure)", and decided:
Approval of decision no. 103, dated 16.08.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime", announces SPAK.
Who is Plarent Dervishaj?
Plarent Dervishaj, known as the brother-in-law of the former leader of the "Durres Gang", Lulzim Berisha, is one of the accused of SPAK for the assassination of former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj, at the place called the Shkozet overpass along the Tirana- Durres.
The failed attempt to kill prosecutor Ndoj, who was traveling in a car with the strongman of Sukthi, Aleksandër Laho (alias Pëllumb Muharremi), known as 'Rrumi i Shijak', took place on November 1, 2019. In this assassination, he was the prosecutor's driver, Andi Maloku, died.
SPAK managed to clarify this event after the arrival from France of the communications in the "SkyECC" application and after the finalization of the investigations brought 9 people to court as defendants.
They are accused of being members of a criminal group that over the years has planned at least 3 times the murder of Arjan Ndoja, who at the time held the position of prosecutor in the Durrës Prosecutor's Office.
The group of accused persons includes the convicts Redian Rraja and Arjol Halilaj, while Plaurent Dervishaj is accused of ordering the assassination together with Ramazan Rrajan, the grandson of the former socialist deputy Rrahman Rraja.
How was Vajdin Lame killed?
The president of the Boxing Federation, Vajdin Lame, and his friend, Artan Arsi, were killed on 27.02.2005, around midnight, in one of the towers behind the "Qemal Stafa" stadium. The two victims were faced with a significant amount of explosives as soon as they stepped into the elevator. Tritoli was equipped with a remote control and was placed on one of the sides of the elevator, carrying out the explosion on the fifth floor of the tower, where Lame lived. The president of the Boxing Federation died on the spot, while Arsi died on the way to the hospital.
How was Klodian Saliu killed?
Klodian Saliu, a member of the notorious Durrës gang, was killed on February 26, 2005. In 2003, as a result of internal contradictions, the organization was divided into two others, headed respectively by Lulzim Berisha and Klodian Saliu. Both these organizations turned into rivals of each other, starting a war between them. The announcement in search of Dervish was made after the confession of Luftar Reçi.
