FIFA has unveiled the official "Final Trionda" ball, which will be used in the last four matches of the 2026 World Cup: the two semi-finals, the third-place match and the final.
According to FIFA, the final stages of the tournament will be played with a different ball than the one used in the first 100 matches of the World Cup. The change is mainly due to marketing reasons.
The “Final Trionda” retains the basic design of the ball used since the tournament’s inception, but introduces a new color combination. The red, blue and green elements – which symbolized the three host countries, Canada, the United States and Mexico – have been replaced with black and gold motifs, inspired by the World Cup trophy. The large white stripes remain part of the design.
