A tragic accident took the life of an Albanian in Italy on September 9 of this year. Aldo Gjoka's life with many dreams and passions was cut in the middle as a result of the crash after his 'Yamaha' motorcycle was hit by a Jaguar. The 29-year-old was hit by an Albanian.
The Italian media revealed new details about the serious incident. The questioning of the driver of the vehicle that hit the 29-year-old has shed more light on the incident.
The 44-year-old Albanian with the initials RT, the driver of the car that hit and killed the young man, said that before the accident he had been in a bar where he had returned a few glasses of brandy.
"After having lunch at a restaurant in San Cataldo, he heard the accent of some Albanians. Aldo Gjoka's father was among the guests. The little group talked together for more than half an hour, drinking several glasses of brandy.
Then the greetings and the exchange of business cards, especially between the 44-year-old and Aldo's father, before they got back into the car and headed towards the tragic accident where the 29-year-old lost his life.
However, at the moment there is no progress in the dynamics of the accident. The man reportedly stated that he did not remember anything from the crash, also specifying that he passed out as soon as the vehicle's airbag exploded,” according to Italian media.
According to the initial findings, the car was traveling at about 120 km/h (well over the 50 km/h limit set for that part of the road), and after taking the turn on Via Plutone, it 'invaded' the opposite lane and crashed.
