A 21-year-old man was arrested by the police of Lezhë after killing a pedestrian yesterday evening on the "Laç-Mamurras" highway.
It is learned that Egli Babasi was put in handcuffs, while the victim has not yet been identified.
"Yesterday evening, around 11:10 p.m., on the "Laç-Mamurras" highway, the vehicle driven by citizen Egli Babasi hit a still unidentified citizen (pedestrian).
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian, about 60 years old, died.
At the end of the actions carried out by the Road Traffic Specialists, citizen EB, 21 years old, resident of Fushë-Kuqe, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules".
Work continues to identify the citizen who lost his life as a result of the collision by the vehicle driven by the citizen EB," the police announced.
