The Durrës Prosecutor's Office is investigating the escape of Altin Ndoc, who was held in custody by order of the SPAK and a decision of the GJKKO, in connection with a series of criminal offenses. Ndoc was arrested as part of the "Golden Bullet" operation that led to the arrest of a series of well-known names in the criminal world.
Two of Ndoc's associates, Nuredin Dumani and Erion Alibej, have testified about Ndoc's criminal activity. Based on their statements, Ndoc was held in custody, while he had previously been declared innocent of the charges brought based on the testimony of Klevis Alla.
Ndoci managed to make a spectacular escape from the premises of the Durrës hospital, where he had been sent for several tests. The Durrës Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation, collecting evidence, including that of the Durrës hospital staff. Reports indicate that the surgeon Naim Mediu was questioned. According to reports, he appeared at the Durrës Prosecutor's Office where he was questioned by the investigation team regarding the circumstances of the incident. The doctor was asked about Ndoci's diagnosis, but also about the last moments before the detainee escaped.
The incident led to a series of measures aimed at the chain of command of Durrës prison.
