Two Albanians, aged 21 and 25, were arrested in flagrante delicto by the Carabinieri in the Italian city of Foligno for possession and trafficking of narcotics in collaboration.
Italian media reports that the 21-year-old was stopped by police while riding his bicycle in a suspicious manner. During the search, five packages of cocaine and harder cocaine were found on him, with a total weight of about 4.5 grams. He has no criminal record.
Following the investigation, during a search of the young man's apartment, his accomplice was also arrested. A 25-year-old man with a criminal record, who was attempting to hide 908 other packages of drugs and a pot filled with narcotic substances, with a total weight of 1.17 kg of cocaine and hard cocaine. 555 euros in cash, four precision scales and several mobile phones were also found in the apartment. All were seized by the authorities.
After the completion of legal procedures, the two young men were arrested and sent to Spoleto prison, awaiting the hearing to confirm the security measure.
