The number of persons arrested as members of a criminal group, responsible for the cultivation of narcotic plants cannabis sativa, in the villages of Kir and Pult, reaches 4.
Shkodra police have arrested 26-year-old Kristjan Plepaj.
The other 3, part of the criminal group of 10 members, were arrested on 26.11.2023, while the cultivated plants were destroyed in August of this year, as part of the 12th phase of the "Clean Alps" mega-operation.
As a result of intensive operational actions carried out within the coded police operation "Rule of Law", for the detention of the citizen accused of various criminal offences, the services of the Shkodër Police Station made it possible to locate, capture and handcuff 26 years old.
The young man was detained because from the investigations carried out in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Shkodra, it turned out that together with 9 other citizens, organized as a group, they cultivated 10,274 cannabis sativa narcotic plants in the villages of Kir and Pult, which were destroyed. by the Police services, in August 2023, as a result of the 12th phase of the anti-cannabis mega-operation, at the district level, coded "Clean Alps".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
