Details of a several-hour testimony at the Criminal Court of Kosovo by justice associate Erion Alibej about the 'Golden Bullet' may shed light on other sensational crimes in the city of Elbasan.
Alibej, although not questioned, said in the courtroom that after the murder of lawyer Ravik Gurra in March 2019, there were suspicions that Suel Çela's group, a man wanted by SPAK as the head of a criminal organization, was behind the murder.
For this, he revealed a conversation with Suel Çela at a time when Alibeaj himself was interested in learning who killed his brother Endrit and uncle Arben Dylgjeri, in the Bradashesh massacre.
"I told Sueli that one of the shooters was your soldier, a Shkodra man called "Naqo". Sueli wrote directly to him. Then in the conversation I said 'what happened to my lawyer Ravik'(?) He told me 'he poked his nose into "Maçi" (Klodian Çopja)', I talked to Sueli a lot there and he guaranteed me that the Çopjas were behind what happened to me", said Alibej.
SPAK, which is investigating the murder of Ravik Gurra, has not yet charged anyone and for 6 years the serious criminal event has still not been identified. Report TV has learned that the statement of the justice collaborator has provided clues and has set SPAK in motion to delve into the sensational file, so that in addition to the testimony, it can also provide other evidence to find the orderers and executors. The conversations of the protagonists in SKYECC can be a 'mine' for finding information and according to sources, they are also looking there for the details of the execution with a bullet in the head of lawyer Ravik Gurra.
But Erion Alibej's testimony on Thursday raised strong questions about the violations committed by the State Police at that time, when Elbasan was bleeding from the murders. At the time his brother and uncle were killed, Erion Alibej, known by the nickname "Krymi", was on the run for the wounding of Xhoni Rusta. He recounts how the police found him at the scene of the Bradashesh massacre and did not handcuff him, but not only that, they offered him a deal to testify about what he knew and they would not arrest him, while he speaks not about ordinary operatives but with the names of senior leaders.
"The day I was to escort my family to their last apartment, the director in Elbasan was Altin Qato. Niko Brahimaj was the head of the Serious Crimes Department. I was wanted and some civilian officers came to me, they said 'come and give a statement and we will release you to be close to your family again'. I went, there was Qato, Brahimaj and the chief of the police station who I knew was sold to Suel Çela. I said 'I don't want this here', they took him out. They told me 'we know you are wanted, but help us with some information on who suspects'. I said 'you may find it strange but they have not confused the target, I don't know where to direct you'. As they gave me their word that I would escort my family to their last apartment, they released me. I told the chief of the police station who took him out 'you'd better get out of this city'", Erion Alibej told the jury.
Alibej further confesses that he had learned that Altin Qato was on the verge of solving the massacre, but he was removed from there and replaced with Arjan Muça as head of the Elbasan police. The repentant testified that he had a police source who informed him every time he asked for photos, names and data on various subjects, but did not confess the name. Report TV also inquired about this case in the investigative groups and through sources learned that this statement is also being verified since the police leaders may have committed abuse of power.
In addition to Alibej's testimony, new evidence is being sought and the data being transcribed by SKY ECC may shed more light./Shqiptarja.com
