An accident occurred this Saturday morning at the place called the "Black Drin" bridge, on the Kukës-Milot highway.
The vehicle driven by citizen BK, 54 years old, resident of Kosovo, hit the pedestrian, citizen M. Zh., about 63 years old, resident of Kukës, who was crossing the traffic divider.
The injured person was sent for specialized treatment to the Tirana Trauma Hospital, in serious condition.
The police have escorted the driver of the vehicle in which the procedural actions are being carried out to the police station.
The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident.
