New details have emerged from the gunshot wound in Fllakë, Durrës, in which 36-year-old Arbër Goreja was injured while driving.
It is learned that the assassination attempt was carried out after the injured man had a fight with the father of the suspected perpetrator from Kavaja.
The injured man is said to have punched Eqerem Kazazi in Kavaja for weak motives.
The suspected perpetrator has been identified as Erkid Kazazi, a name known to the police and efforts are underway to capture him.
"The incident that occurred yesterday evening, where a 36-year-old man was wounded by gunfire, is being clarified. The suspected perpetrator of the incident is identified and declared wanted. As a result, it was possible to clarify the incident, identify and declare wanted the suspected perpetrator, citizen KK, 30 years old, resident of Kavaja, and work continues to capture him.
Preliminary investigations show that at around 19:30, on 30.05.2025, in the place called “Fllakë e Egër”, citizen KK, driving a “Ford Focus” vehicle, fired a suspected pistol gun, during an overtaking, towards a “Lancia” vehicle, in which citizen AG, 36 years old, resident of Durrës, was travelling. As a result, citizen AG was injured, while the two minors aged 14 and 15 who were travelling with him were not injured.
The investigation revealed that a few days ago, citizen AG exercised physical violence against the father of citizen KK, who suffered non-life-threatening physical injuries.
"Investigative work continues in cooperation with the Prosecution Office for the full legal documentation of the event. Meanwhile, the Police services are continuing their work to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator. The materials were passed to the Durrës Prosecution Office for further procedural actions," the police announced.
